JOSH DOLARIAN

Pastor
Get To Know Josh

I was raised in Fresno, CA and am passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with others. My wife, Lauren and I have two children, Hannah and Luke.

I attended Fresno State for my undergrad studies and earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. I’m an avid reader and a lifelong martial artist holding two black belts: one in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and one in Karate.

In 2021, during the covid pandemic, me and a core group of friends started Thrive Church in the Madera Ranchos community.

In 2024, Thrive came under the umbrella of NewCov Community Church in Fresno, and we’re now known as NewCov Madera. We’re serving families living in the Tesoro Viejo, Riverstone, and Madera Ranchos communities.

Feel free to connect with me via email above.

Children’s Ministry Director
Get To Know Bella

Hi NewCov! My name is Isabel Knee. I direct the Children’s Ministry over at NewCov Madera.

I graduated from Fresno State in 2024 with a BA in Political Science and am working to join the credential program to become a teacher.

I grew up in church and have been involved in children’s ministries since I was old enough to volunteer. I love the Lord, and I aim to share the gospel with children so they may grow strong roots in Christ.

Outside of church you can find me practicing Jiu-Jitsu, hot yoga/pilates, or reading a book with an iced coffee.

BAPTISM

The next step for you, if you believe in Jesus for salvation, and are surrendering to His Lordship, is baptism.

I appeal to you therefore, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
– Romans 12:1 (ESV)

CONNECT GROUPS

We believe God makes it clear we’re not meant to do life alone. We need “our people”… friends you can connect with through life’s joyous highs and difficult lows.

Connect Groups meet every week to gather around a table and share our time, our stories, our thoughts, and our prayers.

Email Josh (below) to learn more and sign up.
